3D printing is used for many educational, simulation and procedural planning activities, including healthcare-related projects. The MIRS 3D Printing Lab in the College of Allied Health actively seeks collaborators, with and without funding, who are interested in exploring how 3D printing can be used to facilitate research projects.

This presentation highlights recent research projects in audiology, orthopedics, medical sonography and dental applications. Processes from initial consultation and imaging to parts production and post-processing will be discussed. As part of the research team, this lab also provides technical content regarding printing equipment, software and materials for abstracts, proposals, posters and manuscripts.
