HemOnc fellows have intense workloads and many find it challenging to learn/retain comprehensive information regarding the mechanisms of action for chemotherapy. The department of Hematology-Oncology has high expectations and seek to teach trainees better ways in which to write chemotherapy orders and provide better patient management. We have constructed digital materials to teach trainees and refresh knowledge. Teaching the domain of chemotherapy poses great challenges as evidenced by an average national board scores of 58% on this topic. Our goal was to improve these scores/understanding using online instruction. A 5 member instructional design team expectations and audience students was statistically evaluated on 7 characteristics.
